Volunteering with Safe Steps

Make a positive impact on the lives of people experiencing family or domestic violence by volunteering at Safe Steps.

We engage volunteers each year in a wide range of roles and programs, and recognise the unique skills, strengths, lived-experiences and passion volunteers bring to our organisation.

If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer at Safe Steps, please contact comms@safesteps.org.au.

“I want others to know they aren’t alone and the best thing I ever did was leave him, if you’re still in the situation, it doesn’t get better. It’s hard, I suffer from panic attacks and anxiety to this day, but it’s worth it and does get easier in time. I’m so happy now and have been out of the relationship for two years, I’ll never look back.”
