Safe Steps is delighted that the Walk Against Family Violence will take place again this year. It is an important and unifying event for the family violence sector and all Victorians who support the vital work of preventing family violence.

While Safe Steps has led the organisation of the Walk in previous years we have asked Respect Victoria to take over management of the Walk this year. We are delighted the Walk has become such a notable event and the so many Victorians are so passionate about preventing family violence. But we are a frontline crisis organisation and the Walk has grown beyond our capacity to manage.

We are very grateful to Respect Victoria for their generosity in taking on this essential task and we look forward to joining all sector colleagues and members of the public in the Walk Against Family Violence.
